Frequently asked questions

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for small business owners, sole proprietors, and entrepreneurs who want to understand AI's real-world impact on their business and walk away with an actionable plan. You do not need a technical background. You do not need to already be using AI tools.

Do I need any technical experience or AI knowledge to attend?

You will get hands-on experience with Claude AI (a commercial AI assistant) during the workshop, including a practical prompt engineering framework you can use immediately. The exercises are designed so a complete beginner can participate fully and a more experienced user still learns something new. The only requirement is curiosity and a willingness to experiment during the live exercises.

What will I actually walk away with?

You will leave the workshop with:

  • A working understanding of where AI can deliver real ROI in your business (front office, back office, customer experience, marketing, decision-making)
  • Hands-on skills with Claude using the CRAFT prompt engineering framework
  • A draft AI strategy specific to your business, including identified pain points, opportunities, and a starting point for implementation
  • Frameworks for managing the change inside your organization (Kotter's 8 Stages, Gleicher Formula for Change)
  • Course materials, reference guides, and follow-up resources to keep working after the session ends

This is a working session, not a lecture. You will be applying ideas to your business in real time.

What's the format? How does the virtual workshop work?

The course is a single 4-hour live virtual session on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM Central Time, delivered via Zoom or Teams. Cohort size is capped at 20 to ensure real interaction and personalized attention.

The format combines short teaching segments, group discussion, and hands-on exercises. You will need a computer with reliable internet, a webcam, and access to Claude (we will send setup instructions in advance, and a free tier is available). We recommend joining from a quiet space where you can fully participate. The session is interactive, not a webinar.

A recording will be shared with registered attendees afterward, but the real value is in the live participation.

What is your refund policy?

If you need to cancel, here is how it works:

  • Cancellations prior to the workshop: full credit toward a future cohort, transferable to a colleague
  • No-shows on the day of the workshop: no refund or credit, but the recording will still be shared

If you are unsure whether the workshop is the right fit for you, reach out before registering. We would rather have a quick conversation than have you register and not get value from it.  Contact us at info@mcleanforrester.com.
